Bickrum yoga (i have no idea how to spell it)

Sooooo today i tried out bikrum Yoga . Since a whole cult has sprung up around it in our class since one person tried it and now eveyones like oooOHoooh soo cool!
So if you dont know what it is its baisically a type of yoga except it is done in a 40 C room. So it baisically feels like your doing yoga in a sauna, so yes it is tiring. Anyway the place they found is really good and the price is also bearabe. zou can also rent a mat and towels, they have showers and changing rooms and the place is huge! it could fit around 25 people i think so it was fun. The first few mins are pretty scary and you think (well i thought )i was going to faint but zou get used to it, and if you start feeling crappy you can lie down for a while. the sessions are pretty long 90 mins but its worth it as im now in great pain and i dont think ill move anywhere for the next week.
so i put together a little list of what you could be usefull if you would try B.Y

  • Bring 2 towels , 1 to put on the mat so it dosent slip, and one for the shower
  • clothes to change into after ! very very important
  • a bag to put your smelly clothes in
  • shower gel, and slippers
  • A BIG bottle of water
  • a yoga mat
  • If your going the first time position yourself somewhere in the middle or back of the room so you can see what the people are doing infront of you so you dont do it wrong, but also in a place where you can see yourslef in the mirror to know if your doig it right.
  • Eat 2 or 3 hours before so your not hungry but not full.
  • stand FAR from the heater as it will make your life hell if  you stand by it as i just experianced
  • always breath correctly.
  • Dont try it if you know your the fainting, panicky, heartattacky person!
  • bring food for afterwards
  • Go with friends, its funner then going alone

um bit of a problem

So um because i know have 3 blogs its a bit hard to control where im posting aaanywayy i wanted to post the song iv had in my head for like a week now Big in Japan - Matin solveig and dragonette but of coarse i posted to the wrong place OH and Jar of Hearts is also really good by Christina Perri :)

Cranberry and Cream cheese Muffins

this is a great recipe tested by me and my class (everyone loved it) i found it in my good food magazine and can also be found on there website : www.bbcgoodfood.com 
i added my own pictures to help aaand i changed the recipe a bit .

You will need :
  • 175g Cranberries (i used dried cranberries so i added more)
  • 100g soft cheese (like Philadelphia)
  • 250g Caster sugar
  • 200g plain flour 
  • 2tsp baking powder 
  • 2 eggs 
  • 75ml sunflower oil 
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract 
  •  
    1. turn your oven on to 180 degrees Celsius if its a fan. and put muffin cases in to the muffin tray.
    2. Next beat the cream cheese and 25g of sugar together then put in the fridge till the rest of the recipe is ready.(sorry didn't take a picture of this)
    3. After if you aren't doing this with dried cranberries you have to heat in a pan the cranberries and another 25g of the sugar until they pop, mash then cool. OR if you do it like me and used dried cranberries, heat them but WITHOUT sugar until there a bit mushy, but stir so they don't burn . maybe add a titchy bit of water which you'll sieve out and DONT add it to the rest of the ingredients. 
     
    4.  Then basically add everything else, sift the flour , add the rest of the sugar, baking powder, the eggs (wash the before hand) a pinch of salt,the vanilla extract, oil and the cranberries!
    5. Now stir everything together until its smooth is , there will be a bit of lumps because of the cranberries. and divide the mixtures cases.
    6.  Now get the cream cheese mixture out of the fridge. make a dip in the middle of the mixture (the ones in the cases) and add a blob . its pretty tricky i used two spoons, one for opening the dip the other for the cream cheese mixture adding :P 
    7. put them into the oven and bake till golden for about 25 minutes then take them out a leave them to cool.
