Queens Jubilee

Just thought i'd share this picture of the wholesomely delicious cupcakes i made (like 2 months ago i know a bit late) for the Queens diamond jubilee party that we held with the Brownies (i'm a Brownie leader its like scouts). My idea at the beginning was a bit different i wanted to use marzipan to make figures on it like a stamp, crowns and the union jack  and other things but it would of taken ages and i had a history test the next day. Even these took me a while mostly trying to get the coloring right. Because instead of red a dark blue icing i got magenta and turquoise. But the girls still loved them and the whole batch disappeared in a couple of seconds. wouldn't say it was the most healthiest of things. There were scones, cucumber sandwiches,flapjacks, tea biscuit and of course TEA!  btw it was a high tea party. We had games and quizzes about the royal family as well.
All in all i think everyone enjoyed it. I know i did :)
